nice but not for swollen feet & ankles

For my partner. I bought them in the next size range up from his foot size.

Lovely texture and soft. The tailoring is extremely good. The band is gentle, without elastic, and not too constrictive. His comment: "It's like having your foot inside a snake."

Even so they are VERY fitted and were a struggle to get on. His legs and ankles were mildly swollen. If they were in the state they get to with more severe oedema there is no way these socks would be usable.
