Made right here in Australia and designed by Australian Sports Podiatrists these socks are purposely designed and constructed for diabetics or those with circulatory conditions.  The loose rib knit, reinforcement on critical pressure points and a non-tight top band make these comfortable socks. The addition of bamboo provides a luxurious feel against the skin.

With the added benefit of being anti-odour and anti-fungal these socks inhibit smelling and are perfect for all day use.

Service with a smile

I ordered 2 pair of these size 14 socks for my 90 year old Brother with type 2 Diabetes, the evening of 12th November 2023. They were delivered the morning of 16th November. How is that for service? Brother said they were a little firm to
put on, he has some foot swelling, but then very comfortable. They are super soft. I shall order him another 2 pair in a larger size.

I love these socks, really I do, BUT . . .

Only 4-stars for a definite reason but these 'may' be close to the perfect sock - read on . . . The bamboo Lightfoot Diabetic socks are the most comfortable and luxurious socks I've ever owned. They are a reasonable price for what you get - wait for the regular specials though! The big reason I buy them is that, after a decade of searching, they're the only ones that don't ringbark my ankles/lower leg. At worst they leave a slight little pattern but nothing to concern me. This is saying a lot as my legs are very sensitive and to find a sock that stays (mostly) UP and doesn't mark is a real lifesaver for me. HOWEVER the sock doesn't wear/last nearly as well as others. While the feel of the sock is full, thick and luxurious (bamboo/elastane) it doesn't last that long and prematurely starts wearing out in the heel area. This is so unfortunate but a price I will have to pay for finding this most comfortable sock. Yes, aside form that wear factor I can strongly recommend them for comfort especially for diabetics or anyone that wants a really comfy sock without the tight leg elastic. In that regard, believe me, you won't be disappointed. I'd say they last on average 6 months - more if you're inactive. I buy them regularly now as they're just too comfortable to move away from! So, only 4 stars due to the fast wear factor. NOTE to manufacturer: reinforce the heel and you'll have created the perfect sock!

Great for autistic-related sensory issues

My 12 year old autistic son loves these socks so much! Socks have always caused him so many sensory issues, and so-called sensory-friendly socks have been terrible for him. I think he prefers socks that don’t put pressure on his feet, and that don’t have a tighter band at the top. The Lightfeet Diabetic socks are not the cheapest, but the price is worth it to not have to deal with daily sock-induced meltdowns.

We originally got a few pairs of these socks at the same time my son had a pair of shoes fitted, but the shop hasn’t had any available when I went back to get more. Socks for Living sells them for the best price I’ve been able to find online, and the dispatch and delivery is always very prompt.
