EVERYONE NEEDS A HUG

The sock equivalent of a really good hug.

DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

We endeavour to ship most parcels within 24-48 hours, but sometimes we run slow so if your order is mission critical leave an order note so we can expedite your order where possible.

Designed by Australian Sports Podiatrists these socks are purposely designed and constructed for diabetics or those with circulatory conditions.  The loose rib knit, reinforcement on critical pressure points and a non-tight top band make these comfortable socks. The addition of bamboo provides a luxurious feel against the skin.

With the added benefit of being anti-odour and anti-fungal these socks inhibit smelling and are perfect for all day use.

Great socks

Light. Soft, stay up, non restrictive. Our son thinks they’re great. He has a shoe size mens 8 and the size small fits perfectly.

Light Feet Diabetic Sock.

Fast service, no problems with order. These socks are nice and loose and they don't fall down. I recommend these for people with diabetic issues or for people with large ankles.

Top Compfort, Luxurious Even! Sadly, Not Long Lasting

This Lightfoot Diabetic sock would rate as one of the most comfortable and 'luxurious i have used in my 60-odd years of walking the planet. Bamboo I think, from memory is the material and it feels absolutely beautiful and expensive. The MAIN reason I bought was for the loose ankle top and this is the loosest I've come across from many brands I've tried. The only downside of these socks is the wear - they don't last that long. The top unravels within about 6 months. I have found a 'workaround' - just pop them into a washing bag in the machine and you'll extend their life by double. They don't react well to being pulled and stretched in the washing machine. Otherwise this sock is the answer to my prayers and I've been looking a long time! (BE WARNED: The 'short ankle' version of this sock - called "The Mini Crew" is even worse with the wear AND the so-called LARGE size is NOT large at all. I've spoken with them about this but I was seemingly ignored as they're still selling this smallish short sock as "Large". They've no plans to get bigger ones OR fix the anomaly in the sizing of the short version. It does not fit a male with a large foot! Rest assured the tall version does, just strange how they're both called "Large" but the short version is anything but!)

Loving these

Although I am not diabetic, I opted for the diabetic socks because I do have cellulitis problems with one leg and find that because there is no elastic on them, they don't "cut in" to my leg. Loving these socks too as they don't "sweat" and are very comfortable. Thank you.

Lightfeet ain’t just socks. They are super special sox.

I bought my first Lightfeet a while back. Just 2 pairs to try them as they ARE expensive. Then I bought 5 more pairs ‘on special’, then I bought 4 more pairs. I can’t imagine ever buying and other type of socks. These are super special sox.

BEST EVER SOCKS

Until now I thought socks were just socks which in my case - frail elderly - were getting harder and harder to put on my feet. Now I know differently.
Lightfeet Diabetic are so much easier to put on but they are also cool on my feet. I am a happy convert. Today I threw away all my old Woolies sox and the garbos will collect them tomorrow. Hooray for Lightfeet.

Mum loves them on her feet not too tight! The shorter ones do fall off easily but she does like them a lot!

Holes in socks already

Great socks but!
Bought 3 pair of large which should be 11-14 but only just fit my size 10 feet. 2 socks already have large holes above the heel and the hole has just run.
Comfortable, moisture absorbing socks but need to last longer than 6 weeks at that price.

Fantastic socks

These are great socks. Very comfortable, especially around the top where I suffer from a lot of swelling. They are easy to put on - I can even do it myself. I can say they are the best socks of this sort I have tried.

Hi Florence,

Thanks so much for your feedback and glad to hear they are easy to put on and do what you need them to.

Could be better

The socks feel as if there is not enough around the ankle not giving much warmth there. Comfortable around top of sock thus avoiding restriction. Sizing on one pair not accurate. Cushioning on sole area still insufficient to prevent discomfort.

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear these socks weren't as good as you would have liked. Perhaps I can shed a little light on a few things to help get you in the right sock. These socks are a diabetic sock made from bamboo, so warmth is not going to be their focus. If warmth is a priority you'd be better off with a sock containing wool, merino or more volume i.e. thicker. You may find the Thorlo diabetic sock more suitable for your needs as these socks are well cushioned underfoot to prevent foot pain and are a more voluminous sock so will be warmer than the sock you have tried.

I hope this helps.

They are quite comfortable but as i am afflicted with Peripheral Neuraphy I would like the soles to be thicker and the tops looser .

Very nice socks to wear and so comfortable but a little too long up the leg for me. Will get a pair of Thorlo next to try.

Lightfeet Diabetic Socks

The socks are really comfortable and the ridge at the toes is flat and doesn't rub them. They keep my feet warm. My husband was so impressed with feel of the socks that I had to order some for him too.

Why Your Socks Make Your Feet Feel Wet (And How To Stop It)

We had someone reach out recently with a cracker of a question:

“I’m typically in shoes for up to 16 hours per day, the merino‑cotton blend I’ve been using unfortunately leaves my feet damp, wet, although comfortable.”

If you read that and thought, “Yep, that’s me,” then welcome — you’re among friends. Damp-feeling socks are one of the most common complaints we hear, and the good news is: you can fix it.

Running Toe Socks: Why Your Toes Might Thank You

Toe socks aren't for everyone. And we're perfectly happy saying that.

They're a little different. They take a few seconds longer to put on. You need to get each toe into its own little compartment, make sure everything is sitting snugly and then you're ready to go.

It's not exactly the sort of thing you want to be doing when you're already late for the train because you will miss it.
