DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

We endeavour to ship most parcels within 24-48 hours, but sometimes we run slow so if your order is mission critical leave an order note so we can expedite your order where possible.

Designed by Australian Sports Podiatrists these socks are purposely designed and constructed for diabetics or those with circulatory conditions.  The loose rib knit, reinforcement on critical pressure points and a non-tight top band make these comfortable socks. The addition of bamboo provides a luxurious feel against the skin.

With the added benefit of being anti-odour and anti-fungal these socks inhibit smelling and are perfect for all day use.

Materials - 97% Bamboo, 2% Elastane, 1% Polyester

Beautiful socks !

Very impressed with their quality! Will be buying more ! No more constricted bands of flesh on his ankles!

R
Ruth Bennet

The foot part of the sock was far too loose. The ankle bit was good.
I have purchased light feet sports socks and they fit into the shoe really well, just a bit tight around the ankle

Excellent wonderful socks I love

I have had these socks before and so this is repeat business for the brand. They don't move or fall down, they don't leave indents on my cankles, they absorb my sweat from being on my feet all day at work.

Good quality and very comfortable

Lightfeet mini crew socks.

Very comfortable, the ankle band is not tight, and they wash well. I take a size 43 very wide and they just fit me. I bought the largest size.

Diabetic Mini Crew - size

I have a size 11 foot - and ordered the Large mini crew diabetic socks, advertised as fitting Men's 11-14. The socks clearly are too small for my foot and are pulled down into my shoes while walking. Very disappointing and uncomfortable. The labelling on the socks was Large - but these socks in no way fit a Men's 11-14. Will likely not wear these socks, so money was wasted. Have never had this problem with sizing of any other socks.

I would have given 3 stars if they were not so expensive.

Very good

Gentle elastic tops, and they don’t slide down into your shoe. Great if you suffer from swollen ankles.

Disappointing Purchase

I bought these socks for my husband as he has been finding the bands on his normal socks have been digging into his ankles. How disappointing! The socks do not stay put and slide down into the shoe. Worst socks I have ever purchased!!

Thank you for your feedback. It is really appreciated as it helps us understand what works, what doesn’t and how to improve.

One thing to keep in mind with diabetic socks is the bands are, at times, loose or non-tight when compared to traditional socks. The rationale is to avoid the problem of socks digging in. Unfortunately there are some trade-offs. If a stay up sock is the priority then cheaper socks use elastic to achieve this. On the other hand if a diabetic sock is the priority that sock will have a more relaxed fit.

Hope this helps.

still not right

I bought 6-10 being size 10 but that's still a bit too short in the foot and the heel keeps drifitng down. I wear socks indoors as well and they keep slipping down to the arch of the foot and even move inside the shoe some days.
The good aspect is they don't cut off circulation. May have to go up to 10+ if I buy more. Gettign the right fit is difficult/expensive problem

These socks are very comfortable as I have lymphedema and suffer from swelling of my ankles. Other socks cut into my ankles but these are wide enough to allow me wear my socks and shoes comfortably.

Not true to size and they slip down

When I checked if the size was going to be right for me, I was assured that the socks were true to size and would not shrink when washed. I’m a size 8 1/2 shoe, so I went for the small which goes up to size 9. On receiving them I washed them before wearing them, and when I tried them on they were too small, and kept slipping down into my shoe, will be going back to Thorlo health pad socks, for my next purchase.

disappointed, usually buy Wigwam ,but it seems you no longer sell them.
the lightfeet slide of my feet easily , annoyingly requiring pulling back over the heel , happens consistently .

Better Than I expected, As good as I had hoped!

I'm 59, reasonably healthy with no diabetes. For years I have struggled with socks that leave pronounced marks on my feet and ankles. Even the so-called 'loose-top' marketed socks did this. They were not painful but disconcerting nonetheless. I had given up trying to source truly 'loose' socks and put up with it. I somehow stumbled across these Lightfeet Diabetic Mini Crew socks on the web. I have never bought clothing on the web due to being unable to try before I buy. This time, after as much research on these as a sane person could bear(!) I decided to take the plunge and risk that I may have a few pairs of duds show up which i would have to pass onto my sons. I wasn't disappointed. These 'bamboo' based socks seem very lightweight compared to most others. I wasn't familiar with the 'mini-crew' short ankle type design and always preferred traditional higher socks. These are just what I needed in the end. The tops are as loose as I imagine they could ever be, the general construction is loose. Happily, they do NOT leave marks on my feet. There's still one or two little marks but NOTHING like previously. The only two questions I have are 1) will they last - they seem lightweight (I have no reason to think badly of their longevity potential though) and 2) these are the LARGE size and they are only JUST large enough for me. I have an average size foot size (8-9 shoe, Australian sizing), I can't imagine people with much larger feet getting these on their feet. OVERALL - for me the purchase experience and the sock fitting experience have all worked out very well. I can recommend these for general use and indeed imagine that diabetics would be well served too. (P.S. The staff online are very responsive and helped a lot in my research and choice).

These feel super soft & comfortable, but I've yet to wear them any length of time, so their quality of robustness and longevity cannot be rated.

Why Your Socks Make Your Feet Feel Wet (And How To Stop It)

We had someone reach out recently with a cracker of a question:

“I’m typically in shoes for up to 16 hours per day, the merino‑cotton blend I’ve been using unfortunately leaves my feet damp, wet, although comfortable.”

If you read that and thought, “Yep, that’s me,” then welcome — you’re among friends. Damp-feeling socks are one of the most common complaints we hear, and the good news is: you can fix it.

Running Toe Socks: Why Your Toes Might Thank You

Toe socks aren't for everyone. And we're perfectly happy saying that.

They're a little different. They take a few seconds longer to put on. You need to get each toe into its own little compartment, make sure everything is sitting snugly and then you're ready to go.

It's not exactly the sort of thing you want to be doing when you're already late for the train because you will miss it.
